Subject: Saab 900 heat won't turn off

I have a 1990 Saab 900 Turbo. I need to know if I've messed up my heating/A/C or if it is legitimately broken, and what to do about it. I was about to attempt to remove the facia to replace my dash instrument light bulbs. I was getting it out but had second thoughts when I saw all the wires and stuff behind the facia. So it was pulled out a little. Since then whenever I turn on the A/C, hot air blows out the side vents. The air from the sides have never been very cold but this is really hot air. The center vents will blow cold air but it's nullified by the side vent's hot air. It's killing my carpool. Have I disconnected something? The heater switch seems to turn easier than normal so I was wondering if I've disconnected this switch. I don't want to mess with it unless I'm sure.
