As I've posted here before, my '02 Aero has *horrific* turbo lag -- 1.5-2.0 seconds EVERY time you start accellerating, including after EVERY shift. That's with a 5-speed. I've driven several other Aeros with automatics (at the dealer) that seem to have very similar lag, though the autos might hold up the boost a bit better through shifts. It is impossible to "burn rubber" with this car (short of racing the engine and popping the clutch, not recommended) because it has such anemic low-end torque. Someone who hasn't had lots of practice driving the car -- like my wife, who is used to her 911 Porsche -- tends to practically kill the engine starting out because it's so gutless. Gary
