Iím embarrased to say that my dealer fixed this problem 11 months ago. But, they are now closed, so I donít know what they did. It took them three weeks of diagnostics and finally, a call to the Saab brain trust. The ultimate fix (forgetting the diagnostics, which they graciously did) was quick and cost around $300. My manual 99 9-5 wagon stalls and sputters. At low RPMs, idling is slightly rough. When idling or making a slow, low RPM turn the car can completely stall out. When driving on streets or highway, the car momentarily seizes, as if there is a moment with without gas or air. Cold or warm appears to make no difference. Before I bring it somewhere else and take out a 2nd mortgage for the diagnostics, can anyone suggest sources or a strategy for identifying the problem? Thanks!!!
