In article <BD80D9E9.11DB8%pjghnospamyonder.co.uk>, pjghnospamyonder.co.uk says... > Not as vicious torque curve as the C900 though. You'd probably > find it a little tame. > If it is anything like the GT4 I have yes. Very tame in comparison, with 4wd, and boost starting when you hit 2k revs and climbing steadily, rather than waiting until you get to arround 2500, and then hitting you in the neck like an icepick, it is very tame in comparison. In the 900, if I was to nail it on second on a damp road, it would take off slow, then spin the wheels at 40 and tramp arround like a pig. In the Celica, it just says "Whatever" and accelerates. No kick, just rapidly increasing acceleration just before you change gear. However, with the higher redline (7k instead 5.5-6) and the smaller CT26 turbo (just 0.5bar as standard), you can actually keep in boost with a good change instead of dropping out with everyshift. Must really fit a dump valve. -- The poster formerly known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
