Hi everyone, I've added links to other websites with Saab discussion forums, notably Saablink, Saabscene, and that other USA-based networked Saab website that shall remain nameless. 8-) Please explore the site and let me know if there are any problems with my coding. In addition, I've added some more logos and links to the reference links page. Hope you're having a good weekend. I'm rust-converting some of the surface rust on the body of my 1983 900S in preparation for repairing the paintwork as best I can. I'm using WhiteKnight Rust Converter after suggestions from friends who own Volvo's of the same era, and so far it's doing well. The next stage is to sand it back, put a coat of metal primer over any bare metal that comes out after sanding, and repaint with white enamel. >From all my investigations, Saab's 'Cirrus White' colour is not actually pure white but has a very small grey tinge. In any case it's not a huge issue as I'm only trying to cover it to prevent more rust. The previous owners have not done a lot to fix the surface rust and on some sections of the front lip of the bonnet the rust was getting towards being serious. Hopefully that'll all be sorted out now. Regards, Craig. PS. Thankyou to John from Nowra in NSW (Australia for those who don't know where that is) for the suggestion about using black neutral-cure silicone sealant as a substitute for seals around the rear light clusters, etc. I've purchased some and when I have the time the light clusters will come off the car for a full clean and all the old decaying seals will be dumped into the rubbish bin.
