The fuel gauge sensor unit is easily replaced through the trunk/hatch area floor. I believe the rocker switch by the shifter is for the the overhead light. You should be aware this car has the parking brake on the FRONT wheels. It is really hard to do hand brake turns with this car. If your car is a US model, it uses the standard head lights - inexpensive to replace and Cibie has replacement H4 lights. Just curious, where did you buy this car?
