It is obviously a software issue and the dealer is not able to do anything until SAAB/GM comes up with an update or upgrade. My biggest beef is with the auto wiper (I actually did not want it, it just happen to be on the one car I liked). It is very erratic, in constant rain and speed the wiper might go 1 sweep in 5 seconds to 5 in one second. Being speed sensitive it stops once you stop at a light and that is especially dangerous at night as you may not see a pedestrian. So I have to turn it on and off before moving. Damn awful. You probably have read the parody about Micro$oft making a car, well here's an automaker designing software.
