Hi, I own a Saab 900s from 1998 (model '96) which drains the battery in 6 or 7 months. The car functions without problems and doesn't indicate a problem in the battery until one day it doesn't start the engine. I bought it second hand with a 55 amps battery. When the battery became dead, I bought a 72 amps battery hoping it will last more, but it lasted only 7 months. Now I have bought a Bosch battery for it, and Bosch says that the correct one is a 55 amps battery. Now I fear that in a few months the new battery will be dead also, but I also fear to explain this to the Saab Service because electric problems are difficult to find and perhaps they charge a lot for finding the problem and they are nor able to solve it.
