Hi everyone, My 9-5 has started producing some kind of intermittent high pitch whine (without any cheese :) which is audible from inside the car. The weather here has been pretty cold these last few days, so at first I thought perhaps it was a semi-frozen belt of some kind, but the sound appears even after the engine has warmed up thoroughly. I then thought it might have something to do with the power steering, as it seemed the sound was produced when I turned the wheel, but that theory, too, was proven wrong yesterday as the pitch was back as I was driving straight ahead. The sound will also make itself known even if the car is standing still with the engine runnning, fan off, radio off. Any thoughts? Kind regards, E
