Whatever the loss you make it may not be that large (it may not even be a loss) if you are considering buying brand new saab parts to redo the inside of the car. Carpets linings, door panels, seats and whatever else it has. The dealer probably does not want to know ... not becuase they make enough money (they can always make more) ... but because once the work is carried out they see it as a certainty that you might complain. Also , how serious do you appear to the dealer in wanting this done. It will cost them a lot of time to price all the parts (and the labour is another story. This kind of alteration is more common to body shops than dealers (unless in oz saab dealers combine with bodyshops ... not common in the UK). IMHO look for another car.
