Funny that a Saab lover would ask that. It's about potential. Saabs are not the best driving cars, but they are pretty well rounded, including their cargo usefulness. We could ask a Mustang owner why he wants so much power under the hood, and his response will be similar: it has the potential to accelerate heavily, though he won't use it every day.
