Found this post scrolling back in time. I too seem to have poorly fitting headlamp retaining clips. The bulbs can move around and become intermittent. Is this a common problem ? Can you actually get the clips individually ? Whilst I'm on the topic I also need to replace a '93 9000CSE sidelight. The owners manual casually mentions removing the round cover and replacing the bulb. There seems to be some kind of lampholder that doesn't want to budge though. Any advice ? I don't suppose there's any easy way to access the front fog lights either is there ? Graham
