I've just grabbed this from <http://www.nospam.com/> for a slightly earlier model year. Peak torque, I)IN 273 Nm (27.8 kgf m or 201 lb ft) at 3000 rpm. Max. boost pressure 0.85 bar. Rating, DIN 175 bhp (129 kW at 5300 rpm. Weight/power ratio* 16.7ã17.6 lb/bhp (7,6-7,9 kg/bhp). Compression ratio 9.0:1 The 175 BHP did continue to MY 1990, so you might well just have a very early 1991 or a late 1990. The year on year model changes can be found here: <http://www.saabmuseum.com/9000/my.html> If you drop your VIN (it's on your V5 and starts with YS3AB) in this decoder, you might find out a little more: <http://www.nospam/information/vin.php> I'm pretty sure that the APC box (the turbo computer) should be numbered 7524143 on your model year, which is rated to 175 BHP. ... Come back with more questions ... :) Paul Var tog v”gen v”gen? SAAB : Nothing on earth comes close
