Subject: Re: 2001 9-5 Headlight Electical System

I had this problem with a Volvo years ago. turned out that the system that senses the failure of bulbs is VERY sensitive to differences in current. Mine turned out to be two different bulbs on the same circuit (mine were brake lights, but both sides were on the same circuit) Some kind of current imbalance between the two will trigger this. Try changing them in pairs. <googlenospamdog.demon.co.uk> wrote in message news:1128081836.416780.235680nospam2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > CT_Golfer wrote: >> Every time I turn off my hi-beams, I get the chimes that says head light >> failure.
