Subject: C900 - Flushing ABS style Brake Fluid
Besides using a good quality fluid and avoiding pushing old, dirty
fluid back up in the system, are there any good tips for a DIYer to
know when replacing all the brake fluid in a 1991 900?
I'm thinking DOT4 is what's called for, I have a 'One Man Bleeder'
device (two actually- one is a tube with a one way valve in-line and
the other is a container with two tubes running to it; one tube enters
and is held below the surface of the expelled fluid to prevent air
bubbles from getting back up the line.)
What 'gotchas' does having ABS installed bring to the mix?
tia,
TBerk
