See previous posts about issues with GM900s - electrical issues mainly, but the 1998 900S is out of warranty, so this might be something to think about. Drive the convertible with the top up and down. I did not buy a 900 convertible because the visibility sucked with the top up - huge blind spots. If you can live with this, or drive only with the top down, it can be a fun car.
