It does say to coat the attachment points with Vaseline when you re-fit, so it sounds like it's common for them to get stuck. The other thing it says is that you'll need to un-bolt the exhaust from the manifold, un-hook the front hanger and push the catalyst out of the way to get the alternator in and out. Cheers, Colin.
