Subject: Clutch problems!
After spending £700 to get my H reg 9000 turbo through it's MOT (turbo leak,
brakes all round, wheel bearing, CV boot joint thingy, starter motor, oil
change etc etc etc) I think my clutch is going! Basically I put it in
reverse and mostly it reverses with my foot flat on the clutch. In first it
sometimes sticks and won't come out......I have to stall it before I can put
it in neutral etc. The garage I used had a quick glance and basically said
they wouldn't know until they took it apart, they said it may be hydrolic?
Something about the master and slave cylinder and one might have a leak? but
they don't know and worst case senario is a new clutch...........between
£500 and £600 inc labour!
Is this for real? I only paid 500 for the car 2 years ago!
Remember I'm female and blonde so be 'basic' with the info please lol.
Regards,
Denise
