The '86 16vlv 5spd has the 'newer' larger tripod joint. (I believe
also the '85 turbos) The shafts are BIGGER dia. The drivers are larger
dia also. (Outer joints are identical. Inner boots are interchangable.
You just need the earlier tripod driven assy (8vlv '85 ) .
(These larger drivers are the same as the NG cars w/tripod units)
