It's still worth checking fuses though - for both Indicators and lighter. I'm not certain about the compatibility thing, but I'd be surprised if the UK sockets were any different to the US ones. They're all pretty hopeless as power outlets anyway (come to think of it, they're probably not much cop for lighting fags either). Since I do a bit of camping, I always end-up ignoring the lighter socket and putting in a permanently powered outlet using a connector that *didn't* come out of a christmas cracker... Cheers, Colin.
