It may just be the sensor in the dash (the one that looks like target near the steering wheel). It has a small motor with an impellor on it which runs for a short while even after the key is removed. If it is this, you can prise it out, give it a clean & oil its bearings & that should sort it out. Does this sound like your problem? hth kds :-)
