Subject: '99 9-5 hooter valve options?



I've got a '99 9-5 with the 170BHP 2.3L LPT engine.  My hooter valve is
hooting.  I see vendors selling "upgraded" versions of same - do they
really do anything or should I just buy a stock replacement part?  If I
can get some HP out of the deal I'm all for it.
