Subject: Saab City Framingham, MA is closing
I am writing to you today to inform you that Saab City Framingham is
closing, and its franchise is being moved to Long Cadillac-Hummer in
Southborough. We are saddened to say goodbye to our colleagues and
friends at 1800 Worcester Road, and hope that youíll join me in wishing
them the best. Indeed, some will remain within the Village Automotive
Group, some of the staff will be moving to the Long facility, while
others will leave to pursue other endeavors.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers at
Saab City. Since opening in 1997, Saab City always had a friendly and
cordial atmosphere. Part of that atmosphere was due to the great staff,
but certainly you, the loyal Saab customer, had much to do with it as
well. Thus it is with reluctance that we close our doors. We hope that
you will find satisfaction in the services and offerings as provided by
the Long Automotive Group, which, like the Village Automotive Group, has
a long and storied history.
Charles River Saab also stands ready to help any customers who would
like to remain with the Village Automotive Group. Founded in 1957,
Charles River Saab is the oldest Saab dealer in the Americas and it
established the Framingham location in 1997. Note that if you have a
problem with any repair done at Saab City, Charles River Saab will honor
any repair warranty through February 28, 2008. Of course, any repair
covered by any Saab warranty will be honored by Charles River Saab
throughout the term of the Saab warranty.
Those of you who bought new cars at Saab City starting in October 2004,
will be interested to know that our ìWhy Buy Hereî programówhich
includes a power-train warranty, free annual detailing and a $500 coupon
towards repurchaseówill be honored at Charles River Saab. Note that the
maintenance requirement, which is necessary to maintain the power-train
warranty, must now be performed at Charles River Saab to keep the
coverage in effect.
I thank you for your patronage and wish you the very best.
Sincerely,
Dan Leahy
General Manager
Charles River Saab
