Mine did the same thing. The pump, which is under a cover behind the rear seat, has a plastic oil reservoir, which continually blows its seal and after a few weeks loses enough that the roof stops working (initially by judderring and jerking). It seems to happen as soon as the system has been opened and atmospherically damp air is allowed into the top of the reservoir. Try topping it up, then re-fit the pump onto its housing and putting a pin hole in the highest point of the reservoir (so that any gas pressure can escape rather that forcing the reservoir off its seal and starting a leak). Did this with mine 2 years ago and it hasn't failed since. Good luck "Steve B." <nonenospam.com> wrote in message news:37jrd31hmr1jcifga8o4610k7fqud7dununospamcom... > > > > >Thanks for all of your advice.
