This is the very reason why you have security people. Humans will
often do things that don't make sense. For example, write their
computer password on a sticky note and display it on the side of their
computer monitor so that they will not forget it. Same reason people
will write the code on their radio because if the radio gets reset for
any other reason beside theft. The owner will not have to return back
to the dealer. I also, had two SAAB and found the radio code written
in the owners manual in the glove compartment.
