Have you tried to remove it yet?
I haven't had that happen but I would think that it would be maybe enough wiggle room after the bolt is released to allow it to be pryed out.
If that's not possible maybe you can saw off the tounges of SCL that holds it in place or give it a lobotomy so that you can release the lock dowel.
