A lot of the cheaper aftermarket rear pads don't have the anti rattle spring clips that come on OEM or equivalent pads. I've changed three sets of rear pads that have been installed by big box shops in the past few months because of customers complaining of rattling over bumps that stops when even the slightest brake pressure is applied.
One shop put copper grease all over the pads when the customer complained, another put new front control arms on (????) to the tune of $1000.
All the more reason to go to a SAAB specialist.
