Well I grew up with a Renault R10! By some very odd chance we found a junk car in a field by my house and stripped it. It must have been the only 2 R10s in Mass. If it wasn't the R10 it was Corvairs. However parts for those were plentiful in junk yards at that time.

To your point, are brakes, wheel bearings, struts common with any other cars? Be nice if Saab picked from inventories to build the thing. I thought the engine was used in some model of a Chevy Cruz. It appears though that everything is unique?

Oh and the other thing is parts prices made it easy for insurance to total my last Saab. A guy hit me in front wheel while I was stopped. Had a lot of miles but stuff added up real fast even without much body work.
