Same thing here for my '06 9-3 SC with 107K miles.
On our colder winter days -- you know, less than 50F -- I hear the clunk.
In the summer when temps are north of 90F I never hear it.
Might have something to do with the viscosity of the fluid in the shocks.
And FWIW I don't hear the sound in my wife's '10 9-3 SS with 81K miles at any temp.
