Ok, was it new or used?
The reason is that I have had two 06 Aero recently (one right now) trying to figure out similar problems.
The one a few month ago set codes ME9 P-0496 and U-0212 00 together with ESP+ U-2139 00, 2143, 2142 and CIM U-2100 00. At that time I replaced the ignition switch module (ISM) as a first measure since I could not easily make it act up again.
When it happened again for the customer I told him to wiggle the harness at ESP/ABS module and that seems to have cured the problem temporarily, so I'm waiting to get the car back and hopefully repair it.
This car now have codes ME9 U-0212 00 together with ESP+ U-2139 00, 2143, 2142 and CIM U-2100 00 and it had been to the Saab dealer just a few month ago and had the CIM replaced for the same problems so it seems like even though all codes more or less points toward the CIM, it is something else disturbing the CAN bus making it look like the CIM is bad.
But if your codes were the same or similar and your ESP/ABS module were replaced with a new one, then we might be grasping at straws anyway.
