It's not possible to even guess since it is too little information and as it sounds like, the dealer is not interested in letting you know more either so you are kind of stuck until you find another masochist mechanic that would be in willing to take on a money loosing project.
When someone has spent a load of money at one shop, they are very reluctant to spend a whole bunch more at another shop.
A new mechanic would have to start from scratch waiting for the problem to happen and the fault codes to come back and since he can't compare to what fault codes were there before if the dealer won't let you have them, he can only guess it is the same as the first time the car had problems.
He also have to guess and take for face value that whatever they have done, it is done correctly so that they have not induced another man made problem.
This last V6 I looked had had the CIM replaced by the local dealer because they "found an open circuit" in the CIM and replaced it + remote for $945.00.
Just about all fault codes pointed toward the CIM and if it hadn't been for that it was replaced already, I might have gone with the same suggestion since the problem was highly intermittent and the first few times it occurred, it was a few fleeing seconds and the problem was gone.before I had even had a chance to come up with a game plan.
Because of the new CIM, I had to look beyond that and continue with my test drives waiting and hoping for the problem to happen again and when it finally did and stayed broken for awhile, I could continue with the fault diagnose and it lead me to the ABS/ESP module because the AHL, ME9 and ABS/ESP was, according to Tech 2, missing from the P-Bus with ignition on.
So, wiggling the ABS/ESP connector made the missing modules come back online again even though the fault codes adamantly said it was the CIM.
Since you say yours has been replaced and that the fault scenario sounds a little bit different, then this probably doesn't apply.
