The sway-bar (stabilizer bar) is shifting under load.
Have seen this a number of times; the center-bushings for the front stabalizer-bar dry up and the bar hangs up, when it's suppose to be sliding, until there is enough force to pop it loose (turning full left/right)
You can grease up the bushings to {mostly} remedy this.
This is best done by loosing the brackets that hold them down and getting some fresh grease up into the rubber bushings.
