Hey Everyone:
As the title implies, I'm having this issue. She is an 03 with 310k, 5 speed manual. Whenever I drive hard into a curve and the traction control activates, I get the aforementioned error message. Once this happens, everything goes crazy and the car essentially dies. The car is fine after turning off and bringing back on. What's the verdict, i.e.cost to fix?
I'm a little suspicious it's a bad connection at the wheel. I've battled crummy brakes (dealer installed but they warped instantly) and maybe the vibration caused a connection to come lose? After having the rotors turned the second time all seems well. I also swapped out the battery, which actually have kept the p2122 code from coming back. Lastly, she has never went into limp mode so clearly the ole girl still wants to run!
Best to you all,
BenR
