The Audi back cover does indeed fits but one need to cut off the 3rd eyelet to clear the bracket.
Internally, both pump are identical to my eye. Heck, the complete Audi pump would also fit with a simple pulley swap. So, if one day the Saab pumps are MIA, one could easliy install a KYB pump from an 2002-05 A4 1.8T manual transmission like the one I have here.
Anybody needs a pump from an Audi ? Very cheap... but you need to provide a good back cover !
