It's not that easy.
Speed signal is generated by the left/rear wheel speed sensor on gasoline cars. The TCS/ESP unit picks up the signal, converts it and send it on its way on the P-bus to ECM which sends it to CIM after calibrating the signal of what tire size is programmed. CIM sends it on the I-bus to instrument cluster where the speedometer shows the speed.
By the use of the Tech 2 scanner you can look at the signal at TCS/ESP and then at ECM and then at CIM and lastly at MIU and see where it disappeared.
The same scanner can also be used to check for codes in all those modules which could shed some light on the problem.
Since it is an Aero and V6 I assume, maybe the TCS/ESP module is having some issues since I have seen quite a few by now with CAN problems.
Try bending the harness connector at TCS/ESP module up by battery and see if that gets the speedo working.
