Thanks Anders! It's a 2.0T 4 cylinders. I had an issue earlier with ABS/TCS fault and found a corroded wire in the rear harness, changed the wires and the fault is gone.
I called the GM dealer and he said he is not even sure he has the right software to look into it ... said he'll call back ... no call so far ...
What is required to scan transmission computer? TechII and a piece of software I assume.
I thought the input/output speed sensors (top of the trany) are used by the speedometer but apparently it is more involved.
I am going to check for continuity on both sensors - they should have some sort of resistance.
