4cyl or V6? I suspect that it might be more codes than that triggered?
Did the problem happen in the shop as well so that the P-Bus could be checked and see if there were more modules missing?
The code number in itself is not enough but I assume it was logged in the TCS/ESP module since I can't find that code in any of the other modules.
Since ECM is located "after" the TCS/ESP on the network, if the network line goes down inside TCS/ESP module, everything else on the "other" side also goes down which is ECM, TCM,AHL and the car will not crank over or start.
I have seen 3 2006 V6 so far with the same problem but no 4 cyl yet but they have the same Network structure so it is possible.
