I have the same rack on our 2006 SC, but with the square rails. I am very happy with it. Saab has two OEM branded racks that I would guess are made by Thule. One model has the traditional Thule square rails ( and works with all my Thule bike and ski rack add-ons I already owned), the other model (that you linked) has the Thule aero style rail. So either way you can use any Thule accessories you can pick up at your local bike shop, etc. I priced out the Thule branded version at Rei and it was a couple hundred more. The draw back to the Saab branded rack is that there are no locks to secure the rack to the car, it removes quickly with a 5mm hex key. The Thule version allows you to add on optional locks.
I looked into putting the factory roof rails on our rail-less SC. There are other posts on this board that discuss this. There is a lot involved to put in the factory rails, but it can be done and it will cost you a small fortune, then you need to buy mount feet and cross bars to add bike holders, ski racks, etc.
