My friend owns a 2007 9-3, 2-door convertible and we walked out this morning to see her back glass absolutely shattered. The entire thing. A 6"x2" piece in the middle was broken out and laying on the outside. The temperature has gotten down to 45 or so the last few nights and winter isn't even here, yet. We're puzzled as to how this happened but it's clear that something wasn't thrown at it..unless it was hit from the inside.

Anyway, I'm clueless to Saab's and have done some preliminary searching online to replace it. Is it as easy as just popping it in? Obviously, I'd have it professionally installed. Should I look into getting any additional seals or trim or will I just need glass?

Thanks for any assistance.
