Quirky Window Problem, Need Help

First, please excuse the old Saab pun. My driver's side window tends to stop halfway down when the one touch button is pushed, then immediately returns to the closed position. This will happen a couple of times until the window finally opens all the way. Is this an electrical gremlin of sorts? Perhaps a sticky window switch that needs to be cleaned? Any thoughts/advice appreciated! Thanks.
