That's great to hear. I went with Maptun coilovers because I'd bought them several years ago when the self-leveling rear shocks went out of stock after Saab went into bankruptcy. But I've been advising ppl to convert over to conventional rear shocks for cost savings unless they needed adjustable ride height. My next set of shocks are going to be conventional.
It's hard to believe that your new rear setup feels firmer than stock. My T-X wagon's rear ends felt rock hard with the self-leveling shocks but wass great for handling in daily driving. So if I were to switch over to conventional rear shocks, I'd go with the Bilstein B6.
Did you use FWD or XWD shock mounts on the new rear shocks?
