I also have an '04 convertible in Arc trim. The glove box manual go thru a procedure to manually raise and lock the softtop so the car will be derivable in inclement weather. There are a few websites you can check, including https://www.convertibletopguys.com/ There is also a vendor in the pacific northwest, I cannot find their info at the moment but recall coming across their website.
