Good Day All:

Working with an indy wrench here in NJ (former service at now defunct Saab dealership) and he's fairly confident that I have a faulty ECU. The vehicle goes into failsafe mode from time to time and even w/o CEL the the throttle is uneven.

Throttle body replaced at a reputable VT dealership at about 55k miles....now at 93K.
Problem is that the new ECU was ordered 9 weeks ago and we are still waiting.

Indy claims we are at the mercy of Saab and that we just have to be patient...does this make sense. I'm getting frustrated and would like to avoid selling out of this frustration given that the vehicle is otherwise sound.

Looking for any insights...PS Indy has the propietary software and appropriate diagnostic tool.
