I'm about to purchase a 2003 9-3 for the granddaughter. Haven't been on here for awhile, but the 97 9K Aero and the wife's 99 9-3 CV are still in the garage as "summer" cars. we're driving an Outback and a XC-60 respectively now as main transport.
The 9-3 looks and drives good, quite smooth actually. Transmisson shifts correctly and coolant gauge runs in the middle. AC and seat heaters even work. No funny noises coming from anywhere. All electronics work, its a southern car so no rust issues seen, (but I haven't had it up on a lift yet)
So..it needs to be dependable, and not cost her an arm and leg for maintaince. What am I missing, and what could be the most probable things to crop up with unknown service history at this mileage?
Any input is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
