Hi,
My son has the 2008 9-3 at school out of state. He has been told that the ECM has failed. That seems kind of strange to me since I thought of these as very reliable. And for that matter, there aren't many posts on this forum about it. But if it has failed then I would expect that the ECM is beginning to fail on a number of 9-3s. Is there any data on that?
Also, I may be able to extract one from a junkyard. Can these be re-programmed for a different car?
Thanks,
Tim
