I have 2 '08 Aeros. My wife's SS has about 175K on it, my vert has 66K.
First check to see if airbags were replaced (Takata issue). Make sure the full 60K maintenance was done, that is a big service.
My wife's car has been pretty good given the high mileage. Needed a water pump at 120K, brakes and rear shocks. My vert needed a fuel pump. Tech 2 said it was "OK" but I kept getting CEL. Replacement pump fixed that. Her Xenon lights no longer turn with the wheel but otherwise light up.
Might look to see if any coils have ever been replaced. That is a known issue on the V6 due to heat. It will run rough for a while then possibly throw a code. By 80K I'd guess some might have been replaced.
They can have mysterious coolant leaks, usually not puddles under the car but is either the recovery tank or various hose joints.
Both of our cars eat batteries about every 3-4 years (in Florida).
The engine bay is cramped with the V6, heat can be an issue under the hood, access to some components is limited due to space.
