So to extrapolate this information--a battery is exhausted or weak in one TPM sensors and therefore the signal from that sensor is non-existent. As a result the control module is unable to read that sensor or it's position on the car.
Someone had told me that a good tire shop can determine which sensor is faulty. True? (Just need to clarify). Definitely due for sensor replacement I will heed advice given and replace all 4. Following replacement, is reprogramming necessary or does the control module "accept" the new sensors?
