Thanks to all for your input.
I took a look at websites for Parts for Saabs, Autodoc.co.uk, and Neo Brothers, as well as a few other sites in the UK. Neo Brothers seems like a great source for used parts, but they did not seem to have what I needed. Friday I put a detailed inquiry into Part for Saabs. They got back to my inquiry promptly on Monday, but pointed me to a sedan specific spring, as that was all they stocking and listing on their site. This contradicted the information I got from Saab Parts USA that the combi needed a specific spring.
Over the weekend while waiting for a reply, I spent a lot of time going back and forth between several euro based part supplier websites and US based supplier websites, eventually I was able to confirm the correct Lesjofors PN for the combi specific rear spring. It seems Saab had done several supersedures on the Saab PNs as new model years rolled out, with multiple PN changes for sedans, verts, and combis. Different vendors of Lesjofors springs referenced various Saab OEM PNs, and some vendors didn’t list the Lesjofors numbers at all, or clearly match whatever springs they had to a particular 9-3 body style. But finally I was able to find multiple european vendors agree on the combi specific Lesjofors spring PN.
What is interesting about google is that if the search term is not quite right, you don’t get much for results. Once armed with the correct Lesjofors PN, then google returned a US part vendor that listed them as in stock and ready to ship. Oddly enough, this vendor is based in my home state of CT, specializes in European car parts, and prior I never heard of them. The springs were ordered Monday and drop shipped to my home from the PA warehouse. They arrived via UPS ground 24 hours after ordering.
Towards the end of all my searching I also found the Lesjofors online automotive spring catalog:
