In a few weeks, we and our 2003 9-5 Sportwagon are scheduled for the long drive from Wisconsin To Alaska -our third drive there and the second in a Saab. In Anchorage, the Saab will have a new home with our daughter who has studded and mounted 15" snow tires from both a 9000 (don't know the year) and her old '96 900. To give you some indication of what the wheel width might be, the wheels from the 9000 have 205/60/15 tires and those from the 900 185/65/15s. THe 9-5's are 195/65/15 Nokians on 6" steel wheels. Because these tires can't be studded and can be used on our '86 MB whose Nokians are ready for replacement, they're not going to AK. Since we would like to avoid filling the cargo space with four wheels, we ask whether either our daughter's sets of wheels will fit the 9-5?
