It is in the instruction book. If the SID says that the key is not
accepted then turn the key to the ON position, press the unlock
key on the remote control, and start the car. As you need to program
the car (the TWICE computer) to recognize both the transponder inside
the key and the remote control (inside the key on MY2001 keys) you can
not use the remote control on the new key (for obvious security reasons)
but you should be able to use one of the old remote controls. Takes the
fun out of the new key, doesn't it? Remember to bring all keys you want
to use when you program the car as all keys are erased from the car
for security reasons when new keys are added.
